Our Story

Melissa is a wife, a mother of three amazing young men with three amazing step children. Her family is her passion and her drive. She graduated from Paroba Beauty School of Everett, WA. in 2008. It was there she had fallen in love with eyelash extensions. Her goal was to perfect her application, become an educator. That goal turned into something so much bigger.

Knowing she would soon have to move to Montana for her boys, so they could be close to their father she worked countless hours on perfecting her application and education. About a year after she graduated from Paroba Beauty School she then became the lash educator for Paroba and taught over 100 students classic lashes.

August of 2011 Melissa, her husband, and kids made a difficult move to Helena, MT. Surprisingly it was in the small town of Helena her business grew tremendously and now her husband and her travel around the Northwest educating those within the industry and supplying lash artists nationwide.

Melissa Hoover, owner of Päsh Lashes and Training has spent years perfecting the Volume Technique and has developed a technique so simple it will save you hours of frustration and time! Her main goal with every one of her students is to make sure they have the correct tools to become a successful lash artist. Every student has access to training videos, educational materials and can contact Melissa with any questions prior to the classes and upon completion of the hands on class. 

Melissa created this technique in December of 2016, she has implemented this technique into every one of her classes since and her student success rate has climbed to a 85% retention which means that 85% of her students are successfully doing lashes. Prior to December 2016 using the other volume techniques her student's success rate was well bellow 30%. That number is exactly what lead her to create this technique. 

In 2018 Melissa created the Exclusive Technique that allows for longer retention! In 2019 she implemented this technique in her own practice after the Covid-19 shut down in MT. Her business had nearly been lost and this technique alone rebuilt Päsh Lashes!

Päsh Lashes and Training was founded by Melissa Hoover. After years of success in the art of eyelash extensions and training individuals in Montana and Washington state her passion and love for eyelash extensions only grew stronger.

Eyelash extensions are still in the beginning phases of growth here in America, unfortunately this leads to poor education and application which breeds unhappy consumers, unhappy optometrists and a bad reputation for lash artists who are truly great!

This is what has led Melissa into expanding her training nationwide, wanting to bring awareness to consumers and those who are wanting to learn the Art of Volume Lashes. Melissa believes in bringing high quality training at a price that everyone can afford, this allows for everyone to get the best education!
